Authentication

BioApptil can deploy several authentication methods, which are enabled by the managing staff at their convenience, to prevent employee's fraud when recording an event.

BioApptil authentication methods

• Username and password (mandatory): in order to use BioApptil, users must login with their username and password, which are provided by the managing staff upon registering a user into the BioWeb service.

• Digital fingerprint (optional): when this option is enabled, user must scan his fingerprint prior to recording an event. To scan your fingerprint, place your finger at the scanning button of your device. Fingerprint scanning must be enabled at your device prior to accessing the app; BioApptil compares anonymously the scanning with the fingerprint stored at your device. If the fingerprints don't match, BioApptill will send a notification to the managing staff.

• Self-photographs (optional): when this option is enabled, user must take a photograph of themselves (selfie) prior to recording an event.
